      Personal Banker Interview

      Jun 22, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America in Jun 2010

      Interview

I got a call VERY fast. I applied one night at 11:00pm because i was thinking about moving to the city and thought i might as well submit an application (thinking it would take a couple months). I got a call the very next day from a recruiter. She was really nice and set me up for an interview in a few days. I explained that i would not be able to move to the city for a couple of months because of my lease. She talked to the branch manager and they were willing to work with me! The phone interview was short. She asked me questions about how i dealt with a certain situation, for example a system change. I passed the phone interview and she set me up with an interview with a branch manager. He asked me questions like: where do you see yourself in 5 years? Why do you want to work for Bank of America? What do you consider great customer service? again.. very short. But i must have done ok because now I have an interview with the consumer market exec (the branch managers boss). This will be my 3rd interview. I hope i get it! i know i was very nervous about my interviews so as soon as Im done i will update with the interview questions to hopefully help someone else starting the interview process ;)

      Interview

Very upfront with open ended questions. Had to do a mock phone call in front of the hiring manager and another representative. It was a little intimidating but I survived.
