Bankers Life IT Support interview questions

Someone called me and asked if I am ok to do a support job (My latest job in the resume is IT support). I asked about level of technical in day to day job but he said I can talk to the branch manager on the interview. So I agreed to go. I checked in Glassdoor and saw some post that he/she applied for an admin job but finally interviewed about insurance agent. So I begun to have doubt. Once the company called to confirm my appointment. I tried to ask for a job description but he said the same, I can talk to the branch manager. Finally, I went there because I didn't want to miss (if it was an IT job). BUT it is an insurance agent. I should not waste my time. How come the company keeps calling people who haven't interested in that job to an interview. There are people from many occupations in the group.
