I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Cincinnati, OH) in Dec 2016
Interview
The first interview was a 1 hour overview of the company in a group setting. This was not made clear at all by the recruiter who set up the interview, but the manager who gave the presentation was very up front about it. The first interview is the group overview (no opportunity to ask questions). The second interview is when a candidate can ask questions. The third interview is what most people would consider a real interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the first interview they ask if you have transportation, and if you want to come back for the second round.
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
