I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (London, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
Very straightforward process taking about 3-4 weeks. I first sent in my application with a couple motivational answers, and I got invited for the video interview stage. I actually found this rather challenging because it was so many questions - But it's all just competency based. I then got invited to the assessment centre and got asked whether I would like to apply for the application development or application management role. At the assessment centre I had a strengths interview very similar to the video interview which went really well, I then had the group exercise which involves solving a puzzle as part of a team. There is nothing you could do to prepare for this part but just try to be involved in as many good ideas as possible. I then had the technical interview - This is what caused me to fail. He asked me a number of basic programming and computer science type questions as I wasn't a comp sci student and didn't have much experience in programming, but when probed on things I said I was competent at it seemed I wasn't actually that experienced in them (oops)

Virtual assessments day - Situational judgment interview, case study presentation interview
During the virtual day, I was interviewed by a managing director and an employee from the analyst team.

Name a time you had to work to a deadline that if you did not meet there would be great consequences.
I completed my initial application by submitting my resume and answering some personal questions. Then, I received a link to complete some tests(behavioural and logical reasoning). After I completed these tests, I received a link to take a coding test. After these, I didn;t hear back from them.
