The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Barings (Boston, MA) in Jul 2024
Interview
Overall, it was an extensive process. First, I spoke with a representative from HR. Second, I spoke to the hiring manager for 30 minutes. Then, I spent three hours doing interviews with different members of the team. The questions for this round were both behavioral and technical.
Finally, there was a 2.5 hour case followed by 1 hour of feedback on the case with the hiring manager.
I applied online. I interviewed at Barings (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
Interviewed for a senior associate position, I'm absolutely shocked at how low the salary was and was told the salary I was looking for is vice president level. I had an analyst title and was paid more than their senior associates at my current firm.
Highly generic interview, discussed my experience etc.
Interview was multiple rounds, includes tests. Folks were generally nice. Process takes a few weeks. Questions were both technical and get to know you. Mostly get to know you stuff. Not too difficult
