I was offered a verbal offer then ghosted for one week before chasing up and being told that the offer has been sent to another candidate. Incredibly frustrating. How can you promise a candidate a verbal offer complete of package and working hours, and then withdraw it, it is beyond me. Requested to provide some after-the interview feedback for another interview, and that obviusly never happened. Advice: this is all very frustrating for us candidates.
