I interviewed at Base HQ (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Their hiring process has multiple steps before getting to an interview including an exam, written assignment, and in person interview. Having worked for over a decade with Executives on high level projects and being one myself, really don’t understand what the company is looking for in new hires. After committing myself to the process for weeks I get a general response notifying me that I am not qualified. Base is looking for people I guess that have EA experience only. Not taking into account transferable skills. They will however offer you a chance to enroll in a $1500 course to take their training an apply again in six months. I don’t know what is worst, being rejected or being rejected, asked to pay $1500 for a course, and possibly still not get the job.
Unless you have years of experience as a EA don’t even bother.
I applied online. I interviewed at Base HQ (Covington, GA) in Jul 2026
Interview
Katie was amazing. I loved her personality. She made me feel very comfortable. She was very informative of the company process and talked about opportunities to growth within the company.
Amazing and quick interview process. Really clear and decision was made quickly. Really appreciated my interviewer who could answer all of my questions and really sold me on the perks of becoming an EA with Base.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Base HQ (North Mankato, MN) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview was conducted via Zoom, one-on-one. The interviewer made me feel comfortable and I was able to ask questions freely. They did not ask many interview-type questions, it was mostly me asking them questions. I was a bit confused by this but felt I left the interview with my questions answered! I was not verbally told I was hired in that interview, but was immediately emailed contracts to sign and paperwork to fill out after the call. So I knew I was hired. I was misinformed about how a couple things worked but was able to connect with other people following that day to get some things clarifed. So could have been better but also was a fairly simple interview itself!
