I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Basis Technologies (New City, NY) in Nov 2012
Interview
My first interview was in late September for a role in the NYC office and was w/a regional ad manager and was a straight forward Q and A , with mainly them telling me about the company and what it does and me responding and asking questions. It was more or less the same discussion we had on the phone so was sort of a waste of time. I also had to meet him in a coffee shop right across from there office which seemed odd as why not meet AT your offices? Anyway, I was told at the end of the meeting I was "one of 3 candidates" for the role and next steps would be either I would go to Chicago for a HQ mtg or someone else would meet with me in NYC, most likely a VP. So, almost 2 months went by (i got another job in the meantime, what else would you do?) and then they started a flurry of unorganzied emails trying to shcedule a second interview in NYC with the VP and same Ad Mgr.I met with already. This round was a total waste of time and I thought we were closer and was actually told another meeting would need to take place and would be in Chicago? The 2nd meeting was a joke. It was basically the same 2 meetings we already had as i had been asked on the phone interview: "who wound you go after, give me 3 as an example....we did all that) and met with my original contact who seemed at a loss for any info and mainly apolagized. As well the meeting was also supposed to include a 3 person who just never showed up. My final interview was w/a VP and he mainly talked about sports and gave me a gerneral overview I alreeady had gotten. Talk about running around in circles. To be told "now it could be another 2 mo's or two weeks and even maybe 2 years if we feel the process merits it". Really? You are not google (i was told they are little "googly" in the hiring process" and when you have a quality hire right in front of you don't waste my time and your time. I had to take a morning off from my job, not easy to do and was a worthless effort. I really was led to beleive this was it and was nothing. These guys will lead you all over the place. I gave them cleint documents, did an overview of my contacts and interviewed very well and nothing. I think they apsire to be a real company but are very unorganized and have no clear idea of how to get good people. the office is drab abd very bare bones and people seemed sort of annoyed looking. The vibe was not good.

Question 1
None. I wish they would hav asked me to pitch them or taken the time I did to prepare. Totally unproffessional process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Basis Technologies (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2013
Interview
Not very efficient. I went in and interviewed with 5 people and the entire process took over 5 hours! By the time I got to the last interviewer, I was exhausted. Most interviewers were not very friendly, and I just wanted to get out of their.
