I got a link from the recruiter to schedule a time for us to talk a few months ago and I scheduled the meeting. The recruiter did not call me at all at the scheduled time. I sent him an email and he did not respond. Instead, I just received an automated rejection email a few weeks later. it is a waste of candidates time if you randomly schedule meetings with them with no intention of showing up. It also reflects very poorly upon your recruiting organization that you have a bunch of deadweights who are not doing their job and serves as a warning for VP level candidates to stay away from this kind of a company.
