I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Lansing, IL) in Aug 2013
Interview
well I applied in like June, I went to the store with a paper application and I didn't ask if they were hiring (I don't think they were) I just handed it to one of the sales associates, originally I was looking for a summer job. I didn't get a call until August so I'm sure you can imagine my surprise. It was a group interview like everyone said but I didn't have to sell anything but that's only because the lady I interviewed with said that "they can teach the skill they want people who have good personalities" it was very relaxed and chill. I got there only like 5 min. early and was told to just look around the store and "mingle" which I did not. about 5 min later me and like 6 other girls were taken to the back room and the interview started. it was really easy she only asked like 4 questions and none of them were real interview questions except for like 1. most of the time she just talked and she talked so much that there were no questions left for me to ask so I didn't and neither did anyone else. the questions were not directed at any one person most of the time. she only directed a question at people if they weren't talking much. overall really easy. she said we would hear back by Wednesday and we would start on Friday..... I didn't get a call until Friday. so just remember to hold out a little just in case.
