I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Saginaw, MI) in Oct 2013
Interview
I submitted an application in-store around the beginning of August and received a call from the store during the middle of September. They scheduled me for an interview about a month in advance. I got to the store about ten minutes early and was told to look around the store until all the other girls had arrived. The manager of the store came out and told us to each pick a try me bottle of lotion in our favorite scent and bring it into the backroom with us. There were three other girls and myself. The manager was very sweet and laid-back, she told us to act like we were just having a conversation. She would ask a question and had us take turns answering first, so nobody was trying to outshine anyone else. She asked a lot of questions that involved examples of situations, asked us what our favorite scent was and why, and asked us to do a hand demo on the girl next to us. Overall it was a very good interview experience. She said that she would call back within a week but I have not received a call and it's been about two weeks. They are very big on previous retail experience and I have none, so I'm guessing that's why I have not gotten a call back.

Interview
First, they called to set up an interview. Then, they interviewed in a small employee area of the store. They said they would get back to me within three days then they ghosted me. I called to follow up and was told they would get back to me the next week. Again, I was ghosted with zero communication (not even a rejection email).
