Submitted an application online and took a few weeks to hear anything back. Was called and set up an interview at a business space in a hotel. Did an interview with RM and asked to fill out a personality test. Couple weeks later emailed them since I heard nothing and they have me a position.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Batteries Plus Bulbs (Kentwood, MI) in Jun 2017
Interview
Applied for the job online, and the company responded very quickly. I set up an interview for the following day. The owner conducted the interview which basically consisted of asking about my work history and an explanation of the position. After the interview was over I was offered a position on the spot.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Batteries Plus Bulbs (Kenosha, WI) in Jan 2012
Interview
Fairly simply, much what you'd expect. One, possible two interviews depending on position. About a half hour to 45 minutes. Less formal, semi-structured, very conversational and casual, low stress. No testing or anything like that. Met in the back office which is very non-threatening.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What's your sales experience like? Are you adaptable and flexible in terms of schedule, unruly customers, et cetera? Would you say are your strengths and weaknesses? Would you say you have strong technical, mechanical and computer skills?
