Baxter Process Coordinator - Trade Compliance interview questions

I sent my application and then got invited to a phone call with a HR rep. The call went well and the HR rep was nice and encouraging. During the interview, she asked me to send a copy of my diplomas and that she would get back to me with the next steps. After the call, I sent the requested documents and never heard back from her. After 10 days, I sent an email to check if she had received everything correctly and to have an update on the status of my application and got no answer. Something like a month and half later, I received an automatic email stating that somebody else had been selected. I thought that was quite disrespectful.
