I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Beacon Hill (Oak Brook, IL) in Feb 2016
Interview
When I had arrived on site, I met with the team and was quickly introduced to everyone working in the office. Next, I was directed to a room where I was interviewed by the team, (2 people at a time) whom went over the same questions each round. While I had expected to meet with everyone and have questions be repetitive, it was a little different to be interviewed by each member of the office. It seemed that it was more of a team decision to bring me on board rather than the hiring managers themselves making the decision.
I was a little thrown off in the initial stages of the interview as I was interrupted mid sentence due to someone barging in the conference room to tell someone that a candidate had accepted an offer. I thought it was extremely rude.
By the end of the interview, I met with the Recruiting Manager, some account executives and recruiters. I never met with the hiring managers. I will admit that I was frustrated in that I took a day off of work to go into their office, but I was really only there for about 2 hours. It was obvious to me that they did not think my time was as valuable as theirs. It seemed that the team was nice, however management was lacking. The recruiting manager was particularly rude, as she was picking at her finger nails while I was talking, and would not even make eye contact with me.
Overall, I would not suggest interviewing here.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Beacon Hill in Jun 2026
Interview
I interviewed for an Account Executive position focused on B2B business development, prospecting, and client relationship management. We discussed my experience leading client-facing teams, serving as the primary liaison between clients and crews, and how those communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills translate into building trust, generating new business, and driving revenue through consultative selling.
Very simple, you either got it or you dont and thats made extremely clear from the hiring managers. Must come in with enthusiasm and moxy! Furthermore, its a competitive position with tons of applicants, their programming and events are awesome.

One phone screening with a 30 minute online interview which was very basic and behavioral. The recruiter was very nice and helpful when it came to getting ready for the interview.
