I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bealls in Jul 2013
Interview
I turned in a paper application. A couple weeks later I was contacted by telephone for an interview. The store manager met me at the front and she took me back to her office. She was very friendly. She asked about my experience in retail and fashion, as I didn't have any listed on my application. I told her that I did have a little but it had been longer than 7 years so it wasn't on the application. She understood and asked about my availability. I told her about my college schedule. She said she would let me know on Thursday if I had the job. She called on Friday and asked if I was still interested.
The interview process was super simple, a few questions about your interest in the position, availability and the regular things nothing to be nervous about. Whether you had experience & etc.

The online application automatically gives every applicant the option to set up an interview. You get text notifications beforehand to confirm. Interview was short and relatively easy, basic q’s about how you’ve handled store and customer issues. So have details ready.
