Interview
Like most companies, Bechtel took a while to get through the interview process. The company is known for changing course regarding location. I was initially told I would be in one location those plans changed. It can be attributed to the pandemic, however, talking to people who have been at the company for a long time, this is standard practice.
It was quick and standard. The questions asked were focused on prior work experience and description of the job. There were a few situational based questions to judge how you would handle particular situations.
Interview with the department head with no further assessment. Discussion around cv and experience. Nothing really technical. Then a tour of the office. It was a good positive experience that resulted in a job offer.
