Interview
The interview process at Bectran was very fast and structured:
HR Call: Initial screening call with HR.
Java Assessment: The test cases were a bit unclear for the coding section, but the multiple-choice questions were decent enough.
Python Assessment: Followed by another coding assessment in Python.
30-Minute Interview: A technical interview with an SDE at Bectran.
During the interview, I was asked two main questions: one on system design and another on SQL. I answered all the questions and was informed by the interviewer that I had done well and received instructions for further rounds.
Despite this positive feedback, I was later informed that I had been rejected. I am still trying to understand the reason behind this decision, as I felt I performed well in all stages of the process.
Overall, the process was quick, but the lack of clarity in the rejection feedback was disappointing.
