Walked in for an interview before Holiday Season was hired same day . HR manager didn't ask which department I was interested in just informed me which positions had availibilty.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Belk (Lexington, NC)
Interview
Interview consisted of meeting with area sales manager with final approval from cosmetics line representative. Pre-interview screening included computer testing to ascertain level of skill in operating computerized cash register and how the applicant responded to customer service issues and concerns.

One important question asked during the interview process was about employee availability, primarily whether or not the potential employee is available for any shift 7 days per week.
