I applied online for an open sales assistant position at benefit inside Macy's and was sent an email to schedule an interview in person. I went in and I was asked questions about my education, previous employment, job expectations, experience and skills in the beauty industry as well as knowledge on the brand and products. Once the interview was over i was told I would receive a phone interview from their manager which i did a few days later and in that phone interview i was told once more id receive a call if i was chosen to go in again, i was never contacted again. The questions aren't intimidating but the process is kind of long with multiple interviews, at least for benefit inside macys.

Si inizia con un’ audition ( ti dicono che ci sara’ un gettone di presenza, mai percepito!) durante la quale devi dimostrare le tue abilità nella vendita. Mi hanno spiegato poco e niente, pretendendo gia’ da subito alte performance. Segue poi un’intervista telefonica, improntata piu’ che altro a capire le tue aspettative, in quanto non si capiscono le condizioni contrattuali, o meglio per quanto tempo durera’ il tempo determinato e semmai ci sara’ la probabilità di un indeterminato; poiche’ sono quasi sempre sostituzioni maternita’.

Casual and friendly interview process. Video introduction was a new format of interviewing. 3 step interview process. Interviewer was lovely and made the process so much more relaxing. Zoom interview doing half a face of makeup was a new experience however very enjoyable
