I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Benefit Cosmetics (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
Was contacted by HR to do an initial phone interview on my background. After that, was contacted a few days later and was told to come in for an office interview. I met with 4 separate individuals and also took a short test. Each of my interviewers in the department I was interviewing for were warm and personable. Just make sure to look over the job description carefully - be prepared to speak about each objective and how your experience applies to each one. I made sure to do that, as well as ask lots of questions. I was emailed a few days later with an offer!
