Went through a recruiter. Given I already have a full time job, I didn't have a whole lot of scheduling flexibility and Benefit/the recruiter gave me very little options and not much notice for a phone interview. The recruiter didn't tell me to sign up for their email and have feedback. I did do research but this wasn't one of the things I did. Turns out this was a dealbreaker for them. According to the feedback I got from the recruiter, they were "concerned" about this. I believe that they should have communicated to the recruiter that they wanted me to sign up for their email and to have feedback. Again, I had very little notice to prep for this interview and I did other kinds of research. Had I known specifically what they wanted, I would have given it to them. To disqualify me based on that is absurd given how qualified I was for the role.
