Question 1
Esperienze lavorative,studi,preferenza sede di lavoro
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Benefit Cosmetics (Winnipeg, MB) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied online and heard back within one week. I was very excited because benefit is one of my favourite cosmetic companies. The woman whom called me scheduled a telephone interview with me for the following week. I wasn't qualified for the position because in my province you have to be a licensed aesthetician to work in brow hair removal ( or any hair removal) . I couldn't simply take a Course in another province , it had to be a certification in province. Anyways, I was pretty bummed out about this and the woman whom interviewed me seemed to be too. She said she liked my passion and personality. She then told me that she would have some hours working in store as a benefit employee helping to sell the cosmetic line. The position would require me to work in Sephora but I wouldn't be an employee of Sephora , I got the impression that it was a sort of in store brand rep. The interviewer was travelling for the next two days and said when she returned she would contact me to set up and In store interview/meeting. Great! I was really happy and looking forward to it even though it wasn't the full time position I had hoped for. On the Thursday when she was supposed to call me back , she didn't. I gave it a few more days and called her the following week. No answer , I left a message saying I was still very interested and rest look forward to meeting her. No response. To this day , no response. I felt that to be unprofessional and rude. If she no longer wanted me for the job I would have appreciated to be treated respectfully and made aware of that. Instead of being ignored.
