I was referred to this role and had high hopes going into the process, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish. The recruiter demonstrated a lack of professionalism and poor communication throughout.
A day before our scheduled call, I received a long email explaining that they might not have internet access during our meeting time and asked to reschedule. I confirmed a new time, yet they still reached out during the original time, adding confusion to an already shaky interaction. During the call, the recruiter seemed unfamiliar with the role and was unable to clearly explain whether the start date was in May or July, which didn't instill much confidence.
After our conversation, I followed up with a thank-you email and received radio silence. Two weeks later, I checked in again and was told they were waiting on a decision from the hiring team. Two months after the initial interview, I finally received a generic rejection email that felt like a copy-paste response.
If this is the level of communication and organization during the hiring process, I can only imagine what it’s like to work there.
