Berkadia Senior Graphic Designer interview questions

The interview process took forever. I applied online and they scheduled a phone interview with an HR employee a week later. It was a half-hour interview with questions regarding my previous work experience, responsibilities, why I want to work at Berkadia, and what I know about the company. In the end, I was told to contact him (the HR employee who interviewed me) whenever I had any questions. I did send an email with a question, but I got no response. After over 2 weeks I received an email with another interview scheduled with an Art Director. The interview was more like a chat relating to the work process, and design. The second interview experience was much more positive and I felt confident. I was told I would hear back about the next step of the interview process within the next 1-2 weeks and that if I had any questions in the meantime to get in touch with my assigned HR employee. Well, I didn't hear back anything after 2 weeks so I sent an email to the HR person to check in. No response again. Finally, after a month from my second interview, I received a phone call from the HR employee. I was told that they had to put the interview process on pause and they would start back up after the Holidays and that would be the last interview. I was patient and waited again. I sent an email asking about any updates. No response. Almost 2 months after the second interview and a month after the phone call I received an email that they moved forward with someone else. I understand that an interview process can take sometimes a long time and that Holidays can slow things down. I just don't understand why the HR employee never tried to respond to my questions or give me information about the updates.

HR rep called me directly. The interview took about 30 minutes during which the HR rep gave me the background of the company, the team, the structure, and the people I would be working with. The role reports to two different bosses, one of which, as explained by the HR rep verbatim, "will have your back if you meet his high expectations." Although it's a hybrid position, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, there is a 90-day fully in-office entry period before you can go hybrid.
