I waited for weeks for an interview and was told it would take 30 minutes. The recruiter called me and only asked one question—how much I wanted to be paid. For the record, I said a number a few dollars over minimum wage, not something outrageous. I also made it clear that I was ready to negotiate as I was desperate for a job at the time. I qualified for the position and have a degree. I understand not getting a job, but they could have been more respectful and asked me questions, told me the range is lower, etc. I just feel like I wasn't even given a chance. I believe they are looking for a person who wants the least amount of money.
