Very informative and relaxed interview.
Hiring manager was open and answered questions asked honestly and promptly. The interview was schedule to accommodate my availability and was understanding that I was a full time student. The hiring manager took time to know me and who I am as a person.

Question 1
What are my qualifications? What experience do I have?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Western (Truro, NS) in Aug 2017
Interview
Two interview stages: Open drop-in in banquet room, with a brief interview with one person. About 1.5 weeks later, I received a callback and met two interviewers (one who had interviewed me prior). Attitude was friendly and open, some miscommunication on dates available, which was quickly corrected, but could have been severe since I was applying as a student and needed certain hours established. The process was smooth and I joined the new hires for a brief training session a few days later.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Best Western (Aptos, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview process was very standard and not hard. Basic topics were covered in the interview such as background and prior work experience. The interviewer was very calm and relax making the interview friendly and very conversation-like. They heavily take into consideration the references from employees and previous employers. If you want the job you basically have it as long as you are ready to work.
