I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BetterUp in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process with BetterUp is long, but worth it. The interviews are no longer than 30 mins each, and they prep you well for them. The interviewers all were extremely thoughtful, prepared, and interested in discussing questions rather than simple right/wrong answers. They also focus heavily on culture fit, even seeming to prefer this to specific skills.
For me this was a great chance to also get to know the company, and the individuals I would be working with in the future.
The interview schedule was as follows:
- 30 min intro call with another PM
- 30 min call with a Group PM
- Take home assessment
- 15 min call with recruiter to prep for onsite
- "onsite" (this is actually remote) met with 4 different people for 30 mins each
- 30 min call with CPO
- 30 min call with CEO
