Beumer interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter who had placed several candidates at BEUMER already. He did a brief screening interview with me just to find out what types of jobs I might be interested in, and he returned several weeks later offering to schedule me an interview with BEUMER. On my first interview, I met with the Mechanical Engineering manager and the VP of Operations. They were very friendly and intelligent. They asked me really simple get-to-know you questions and they wanted to hear a lot of stories about my past experience. I thought the whole thing went pretty well and was a little surprised to hear they wanted another interview a week later. This second interview was supposed to be for a sales position (the ME manager thought I would enjoy that more) but the sales manager didn't show up so I again met with the ME manager and the VP of operations. We didn't really have much to talk about having already interviewed once, but the ME manager decided to fire some technical questions at me. They were all insanely easy for anyone remotely qualified. Things like "How do you determine the force resistance of a spring" and "Describe how a VFD works" This interview went well and they called me back 2 weeks later to meet with the CEO. This was a new policy of the company that all new hires meet the CEO (relatively small, 80 employees or so at this office), so he didn't grill me at all it was entirely get to know you questions. Later that week I had an official offer and I accepted it.
