      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Beyond (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2022

      Interview

Internal Recruiter reached out to me with a video about the role which really made Beyond stand out and excited me. 1st round: (30 minutes) with recruiter: who went over the role in great detail. I've never had such a clear and thorough understanding of the team, goal, opportunity, structure, and need for the role. So really the recruiter went above and beyond to really know what the business needed. 2nd round with Director of Sales (1 hour): Very conversational type interview, but one that was still around business needs, solving problems, strategic vision, structure, and situational problem solving. Talked about the trajectory of where I want to go in my career, how I identified my own deficiencies and how I overcame them. The type of leadership style, etc. 3rd round with sales managers (2- 30 minutes) 1. US Sales Manager: Talked about how I structured the team's week. How I identify opportunity for individual contributor performance decline. Ramping, onboarding, process identification. 2. EMEA Sales Manager: How I coached an individual contributor through opportunity improvement. What I was doing in my previous role and why I wanted to leave. 4th round CEO (30 minutes): Don't show up late like I did. Went through a speedy brief overview about what I was doing in my role, my team, the environment, challenges, retention etc. 5th round CTO/Co-Founder (30 minutes): Talked about my experience selling across multiple products, solution selling. Opportunity for coaching and providing actionable feedback and how I would approach those situations. Some time talking about my journey and what got me to where I was at, why I was looking to leave my current organization, what direction I wanted to go in the future. How I would work and collaborate with other teams and departments. Bonus Round* with Director of Sales (1 hour): This was not part of the initial interview structure/process but feel the same way that hiring a leader for a team is a very critical role as it has great impact on the entirety of the organization. Everyone needed to be sure that I would be the right fit and vice versa. I brought all my notes and main objectives I pulled from each round of my interviews and talked through them, along with building on top of them to solve for business needs. We talked about managing up and down and the ability to shift and clearly communicate the things that are most valuable to the right people at the right time. Received formal written offer within 2 days of my final interview.
