Interview
I applied online and received an e-mail, requesting a quick phone screen about a couple days later. Then the recruiter scheduled a phone screen with the hiring manager. A couple days later, the recruiter scheduled a one hour onsite interview with a project manager and a technical person.
The newly hired technical person asked various very high level and vague technical questions. It would be clearer and probably more useful for his assessment if he actually asked me to do an assignment. He also asked questions about specific technical definitions that I don't believe are required for the job. Later he told me that he deemed my technical background isn't up to his expectation. Overall, the interview conversation was very vague and frankly, quite unprofessional and insulting. The technical person also confirmed that he has no idea what the required responsibilities are for the role I'm interviewing for. Since then, I have not heard anything from the recruiter or the hiring manager. Again, very unprofessional.
