I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Big Lots in May 2016
Interview
I applied online and about a week later received a call. The application was simple and straightforward. I went in for the interview and before i even met the manager i met a few employees which were all so friendly and nice. I went in for the interview and it was so relaxed not intimidating at all which helped me a lot. I was asked the basic past experience questions. She told me the basics of the job and what to expect. We ended up having a long conversation about her past and how she got to where she is. I kept telling myself to stop talking bc I felt like I was getting annoying. She ended up saying she loved my personality and that I was super friendly which was great for building customer relationships. She said she would love to have me there and I accepted. I have orientation in a few days.
