I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big Lots in Sep 2010
Interview
There was an initial phone interview with a regional recruiter. She was very pleasant and upbeat about the company. There were the typical questions about past jobs and skills used at those jobs. She arranged for me to interview with the District Manager the following week. My interview with him took place at one of the stores and when he found out that we worked at the same company in the past he was happy because he knew I understood the workload. He called me the next day with an offer and I accepted.
