      Intern Interview

      May 14, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big Lots (Chicago, IL) in May 2012

      Interview

Various questions and also read a rewards prompt to get customers to sign up for. I also got asked for what classes I took in school and if I had any customer service experience. I told them that I did and that really helped. I also read the pamphlet that they handed out to read more in depth about the company.

      Interview

Met with HR at CareerFest in February. Submitted my application on an email I was given and online. I was contacted about two weeks later to schedule a phone interview. During the phone interview, I was told it went really well and they would let me know either way within the week. I didn't hear from them again until three weeks later when I emailed asking about the position. They told me it had been filled.
