Application
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Big Lots (New Orleans, LA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Was called by Store Lead, not manager, and interviewed the next day. Store Lead was absent at interview time but showed up 5 minutes later. I interviewed, was asked why I left my last position and what experience I had in receiving . It's a seasonal position,it pays $9.50 p/h and it should pay 3Xs that. This is the most unorganized establishment that I have ever worked for. Unloading 1000 PC truck requires at least 6 employees who run around like chickens with their heads cut off and they talk. OMG, TALK, TALK, TALK TALK TALK!!How can anyone talk so much and do physical labor and expect to get any work done???!!! No management, just leads. This lead, that lead, assistant lead, assistant to assistant lead...,WTF!!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Big Lots (Jonesboro, AR) in Nov 2014
Interview
Just a brief interview about work history, and hours that are available. What my hourly pay would be. What my job would include. When I would start work. I was also given 2 uniform shirts.
