I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Big Lots (Murrieta, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
The manager was very friendly. When I handed her my application, resume, and cover letter, she asked me to come back the following afternoon for an interview, which I did. The interview was concise and went well so she said as soon as the company gets my results from a background check, she would call me back personally and make me an offer. A couple days later she called me with an offer and I accepted.
I was only asked questions that were relevant to the job.
It was nice the interviewer knew the company well and made me want the position. It seems like a great place to work. I would like to further interview with them again and try to get employment here
