I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bigtincan (Glasgow, Scotland) in Jul 2020
Interview
I was initially contacted by someone from the talent acquisition team, with whom I had a discussion about the company, the kind of work environment that I am looking for. I then had an interview with two of the developers that I would work with, who are based in Australia. The interview lasted for over an hour, but it felt much shorter. They asked me a lot of technical questions. They were very reasonable about my answers when I was unsure about something.
My final interview was with their (our!) VP of Engineering, who gave me a detailed overview of how development is done in Bigtincan and he asked me a lot of questions about my background and experience. A day or two later I received an email with extensive interview feedback, followed by a call with my initial contact from the talent acquisition team, during which I was offered the job.
At the time, I chose between two offers and a big part of why I chose Bigtincan was the interview process and the impression that the people I talked to left.
Two months later, I am still very happy with my decision.
