I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Birlasoft (Chennai) in May 2011
Interview
It was through Campus in May 2011. I had 3 rounds.
1st was Aptitude - It was easy to crack if you had prepared well.
2nd was GD - many people were shortlisted through this. Only one or two were selected from a GD panel of 10.
3rd was Technical cum HR - It was sort of a stress interview. Even though the answers were right, the interviewer neglected my answers. I gave justifications for each and finally got selected.
Results came in the same day and Background check was done, got the offer letter in the next month.
Joined on July 2011.
