I progressed through the entire interview process for this position at BirlaSoft. This included multiple technical rounds and discussions with the hiring manager, all of which seemed positive and engaging.
Following the final interview, the HR representative proactively requested and received all my necessary documents, including identity and professional credentials. At that point, I was given the strong impression that an offer was imminent.
However, after submitting the documents, all communication ceased entirely. Despite my polite follow-up emails and attempts to contact the HR representative for a status update over the subsequent weeks, I received absolutely no response—not even a standard rejection or an acknowledgment of my application's closure.
While I understand that not every candidate can be selected, professional courtesy demands basic communication, especially after a candidate has invested significant time and shared personal documents. The complete lack of closure or feedback after such an advanced stage reflects poorly on the company's recruitment culture and respect for prospective employees.
This experience has significantly altered my perception of BirlaSoft as a potential employer. I advise other candidates to proceed with caution and to manage their expectations regarding communication and professionalism throughout the hiring process.
