      Science Educator Interview

      Oct 15, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Honolulu, HI
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bishop Museum (Honolulu, HI) in Mar 2011

      Interview

Submitted application. 3-4 months later I heard back and was called in to interview. Interview process was standard. Hiring process was extremely unprofessional. I was told one salary number by my then soon-to-be-laid-off manager and then hired on at a lower salary. Already knowing someone at the museum is a HUGE benefit.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Had to give a presentation. Other than that it was a rather vanilla interview.
