Interview
A recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and we talked on the phone for 20 min. Then I had a Zoom interview with a manager. The manager was fine but very short. It was hard to ask questions and even answer the questions he asked. I didn't feel like it was an interview. More like an interrogation and I didn't have the right words.

Interview
I spoke with a recruiter and had a lovely, engaging conversation about the company and the opportunities within the role. I received a vague blurb of feedback afterwards that lead me to believe my portfolio had not been screened prior to my initial interview (basically, "culture-wise you're great, your portfolio just isn't what we're looking for"). This is unfortunate as I spend a good amount of time preparing for interviews, and surprising as it's standard practice for hiring managers to review and approve design portfolios prior to the initial screen.
