This wasn't the role that I applied for, but the recruiter at Bizzabo thought it was a better fit for me than the job I did apply for. It's rare to see that much thoughtfulness from a recruiter. Moreover, when I was rejected for the role, the recruiter highlighted what she thought made me a great candidate, but explained the hiring manager wanted someone with a deeper background in the role already.
