Applied in early April, was called for a phone interview around early June and asked to come in for an in-person interview in late July that went well. Waited for a decision for a couple weeks and heard they were still deciding. Fast forward to late August and 5 months into the process and the HR reps just wouldn't respond to anything any more. Overall, the design team seemed like they knew exactly what they were looking for and wanted in a candidate. From the whole experience I got the sense that this was a position the design team felt they needed to fill but that company leadership wasn't sure if they did and that's why the position disappeared without letting anyone know. I walked away not really sure what to think and incredibly disappointed because this was a position that I definitely wanted at a company that I was really interested in.
