The initial interview was performed via a telephone interview. This lasted about 45 min. Then after about a week, a request was made for an in person interview. This took a day to arrange. Once that was arranged the hiring manager phoned me stating that he had two candidates and was going to get a second position so he could offer a position to both. He was not able to get the second position and recommended me to another manager. I had a second telephone interview with this second manager and was subsequently hired.
