I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BlackBerry (Waterloo, ON) in Jul 2010
Interview
I had 4 coop interview with RIM. All of them are phone interview. Actually, the phone interview is not as tough as that of Amazon, Microsoft. They seldom ask algorithm question. Usually they check you background according to the resume, ask non-technical question about how you solve a problem. They always ask programming related issues, like what is the different between Abstract class and interface, what is the different between inheritance and composition. Just make sure you understand the general development issues in Java then you will be fine.

Was good, detailed and laid out process. Communication was good and feedback on timely manner. Could have used more detail in job details. Professional panel during my visit. They did take a while to respond back and the process to completion was rather time consuming.
