After initial applications, there's an immediate 'virtual cover letter' (video interview) with competency questions. The next stage is a video interview 2x 30 mins with current analysts in the division. Finally, there is an AC based in Blackrock offices. This consists of 3/4 interviews followed by a group exercise. Mainly experiences and competency based, but it can get very technical depending on your interviewer.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a difficult situation and how you dealt with it
Took about a month and a half with three rounds of interviews. Plenty of questions in all rounds about you as a person, previous experiences, why you want the job, and why you would be a good fit as well as the usual questions on how you respond in certain situations (failure, conflict in the workplace, etc.). The last round was also asked to create and give a presentation.
