The hiring process was quite fast, I applied online and someone from HR sent me an email asking me to come in for 2.5 hours. I was surprised to see this since I hadn’t spoken with anyone from BlackRock so I did not know what to expect. Since I couldn’t make it into the office, they had me skype in and interview. It turns out that they wanted me to skip the first round and immediately have a 2.5 hour interview with 6 different people from the team. Everyone was fairly kind and engaging, except the director who came in and without saying hello, just began firing questions at me. He did not even look up or seem engaged. I did not hear back from anyone and would not expect this team to be good to work for.
