I applied through college or university. I interviewed at BlackRock (Budapest) in Nov 2017
Interview
They invited me in for an Associate position, even though I had no previous financial analytics experience and with my application I did not appoint any specific position, I just sent my CV. No doubt, I did not get a callback, although I had all the qualifications for different entry level positions. The interviewers were really nice though, I just did not understand the whole process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walk me through your CV, tell me about yourself, what do you know about monetary policy, how good is your XY language proficiency (mostly the Italian)?
The first process was the HireVue interview.
There were about 3-5 behavioural questions.
They gave me some time to prepare my answer.
I only had 5 days to respond after submitting the resume.
2 stage Hirevue focused on your knowledge of the company itself, and recent knew in the respective field of application. Followed by an aptitude test focused on your values and preferences, and a mathematical test focused on working with numbers and problem-solving.
