Very thorough, met with lots of people. The team seemed very cohesive and eager to meet someone to join. They offered lots of insight to the job at hand which helped me align some of my answers to match some of the questions they asked.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process started off well. I was contacted by a recruiter, completed a phone screen, and advanced to an interview with someone from the team. Everyone I spoke with was professional and respectful, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the company and the role.
Unfortunately, after the interview, I didn’t receive any follow-up or decision—even after polite check-ins.
I later saw the position reposted without any communication, which was disappointing after investing time and preparation.
I believe in closing the loop with candidates, even if the outcome isn’t favorable—it reflects well on the company and respects the candidate’s effort.
Hopefully, BlackRock will strengthen this part of their process in the future.

Interview process went really smoothly, only had one interview and was more of a conversational interview which was great. Got an offer within 3 hours of the interview, which I accepted.
