I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock in Feb 2011
Interview
First interview was with HR recruiter, consisting of usual questions on career history, expectations, etc. Next step interview was with the direct reporting manager and one of the colleague with technical questions. Third interview was with mid-level management, discussing more on the high-level perspective, as well as introduction on the company's background. And final interview was with the HR recruiter again to wrap up with the package, starting date, etc.

Question 1
So long as we have the technical expertise, all the technical questions should not be an issue. However, the question regarding the strategy might be tricky, as it is heavily related to the current situation of the firm or the team themselves.
smooth but ai was taking means automatically the pre recorded interview was going on she was asking questions and limites time was gioving like a timer and i had to record the answer

The entire process is quite long, ie after each interview it took around a week for HR to come back and schedule another.

Question 1

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (Luxembourg) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview process went pretty fast
- email from HR to confirm salary expectations, desire to leave current employer
- 1st interview with hiring manager of 30 min
- 2nd and 3rd interview with Directors of 30min each
- 4th additional interview with another Director of 45min
Always in contact with HR and organisation of meeting was easy and pretty straightforward. Interviews themselves were also pretty chill and normal interview questions.
