Interview
No phone screening. Email to me set up a one hour direct technique interview with hiring manager. The hiring manager is nice but asking me a lot of technique questions unrelated to my major. A lot of automated financial algorithms questions, which are not my major focusing on econometric modeling so I was unable to answer. Also there are some statistical questions I can answer correctly

Some statistical questions: How to calculate variance? what is degree of freedom. How to random data? How to test if two distributions are independent or not? how to calculate monthly return of portfolio?

Interview
I only went to the technical interview; it was manly to show some of my past work, then the second part was some challenging questions. The interviewers were very friendly and cooperative.
Standard intro call. Behavioral conversation. Discussion of resume. Behavioral questions about strengths and weaknesses and areas for growth. Walk me through career development aims. Where do you see yourself in five years. How do you handle adversity.

Interview
A fairly reasonable case study interview in the second round. Focus was on investment judgement and communication skills. Presentation to a panel of 5 individuals. About 3 days to prepare the case and send your presentation. No real feedback unfortunately, except for not progressing me further.
